The sissy squat machine from Verve is a specialist piece of equipment intended to be used to target specifically the quads.
By fixing the legs into the machine and leaning backward, all load is transferred to the quads to stand back up.

Although the sissy squat is a piece of specialist equipment it can be a very nice piece to add to a gym without taking up too much floor space. It is also a great leg day accessory!
